I want to learn Swedish, and I want to improve my Russian. So every day, I'm going to study a Swedish lesson in DuoLingo, write a sentence or two in Swedish on this blog, and then translate what I wrote into Russian. I'll also translate it into Yiddish, because I like Yiddish.
My sentences will probably be ridiculous and nonsensical, and may be full of errors, but hey, that's why I'm learning! Also, I may miss a day here or there, or possibly even fall off the face of the blogosphere, which wouldn't be the end of the world. But I'm hopeful I'll learn at least something, no matter how long or consistently I stick to my experiment. Also, here's a picture of a baby eating a watermelon, because it's cute, and also because I'm afraid of biting off more than I can chew. But there's only one way to find out... |
